Starting sequence for the 331 is relatively simple but varies according to the engine spec. ie. dash 5, dash 10 etc. and the airplane in which it is mounted. NTS or negative torque system senses the loss of power and will come close to feathering the prop. The actual feathering will have to be done by you. The horsepower limiting system limits the power output so that limits will not be exceeded, mostly on take-off. This is a very simple explanation to a more complex operation but I hope answers some of your questions.
