Realistic Range of Flight
As a new student of flying, I am trying to get a handle on the concept of Nautical Miles. I've been reading the specs of various craft (mostly single engine e.g. Piper Arrow).
On average, the Arrow has a 65% cruise range of 660 NM. From Knoxville, TN, that would encompass New York, Chicago, Kansas City & even Ft. Lauderdale.
Is that REALLY possible? Or am I practicing wishful math?
