A ? FOR THE CFI'S OUT THERE
This is kind of a morbid question, but one that popped into my grape a few days ago...
[scenerio] A CFI has a student who is ready for their first solo. Both the student and instructor are confident. However, during the solo, something unexpected happens either to the aircraft, or the student, the student basically freeze's, the aircraft stalls and crashes, killing the student...is the CFI responsible for the accident? if so, to what degree?
