Bose X and other options

Congratulations on your new airplane!
Bose is the best as far as headsets go. They sell battery operated versions and panel mount versions. If the aircraft isn't wired for the panel mount version, you would have to pay an avionics shop to install the specific Bose connectors in the aircraft. You can buy a lot of AA batteries for that cost. Lightspeed just introduced a new headset called the Zulu and they are advertising it pretty heavily as the best headset. According to reports it is just as quiet as Bose but I don't know anybody that owns one so I can't comment on comfort. There is a review of the Zulu on youtube.com. Go to youtube and search for Lightspeed Zulu.
Happy Flying
