Cherokee Instrument lights
My wife and I are new student pilots and 1/3 partners in a 1962 Piper Cherokee 160. We recently made our night cross country flights and were put off by the lack of instrument lighting. The CDI has a couple of small internal lights but none of the more improtant instruments are lit. We used the red and white map light to see the gauges but I am sure that is not the way it was intended. Does anyone know if the gauges in this year Cherokee normally have integrated lighting?
