aerostar 601p

I am a 1400 hr. pilot with about 800 hr of twin time (baron, navajo, aztec) and am considering a 601p aerostar. One of the reasons for this is that Zane Pritts (aerostar maint. expert ) is located on my field. Assuming good maintanence, good pilot judgement is there anything about this aircraft that is inherently dangerous?
