Talking about ferry flights...

Did any of you ferry an aircraft to Europe or vice-versa?

I´m asking because maybe... maybe I´m selling my plane with the idea of buying my all life airplane, a 7GCBC. Of course most of the world´s Citabria fleet is flying in the US, so what a better market to choose? The problem is, of course, how the h**l does one put a little wood and fabric, single, light, slow airplane in here!? I know flying or dismantling it. The fact is this: I´ve been asking around about this issue, I´ve got some good information already, but when you are about to sell and buy airplanes, you are never absolutely ready or informed, anyhow, you can get closer to it asking and asking.

Any ideas? any advices? any... PRICES AND TIMES!?

Thanks a lot!

I work with a guy in Northern California the ferries aircraft all over the world. There are two ways to accomplish this one fly them with extra internal tanks, which are on a field approval. And second crate them in a shipping container. If you send me a private message I can put you in contact with him as he knows all the legal in’s and outs, prices, and requirements.
