Inspections on foreign aircraft in the states

I understand I can get a 50 hour check on a Canadian plane done in the US, but where can I find this in the regs?

The rule that cover this is FAR 43.17. This rule has been update so any A&P mechanic can work on your Canadian plane. The rule can be found on the FAA web site at: http://www.faa.gov seach for regulations and look for part 43.
