Medical question (Childhood Epilepsy)

Quick question for you guys.

I am considering getting a private pilots license, however when I was 6 or 7 I was diagnosed with childhood epilepsy. I was treated medically for about 5 or 6 more years, however was taken off treatment about 6 years later when I was 12, as is common for the problem. I have not been medicated since (almost 15 years) and have had no relapses since I grew out of it. My symptoms never included loss of consciousness or control and were incredibly mild.

I was wondering if this would restrict me from getting a license and if I would fail the medical? I would not even consider this if I felt that I would be a risk to myself or others, however I've never had severe symptoms that restricted me from doing anything and the last symptom I had was well over 15 years ago.

Thanks!
