C of A
Hi Guys,
Sorry for barging in like this, but I need some urgent advice. I have just shipped a rental engine from US to my customer in Indonesia. The problem is that the customer is requesting for a Certificate of Airworthiness for export. I'm not sure if there is a C of A issued for an engine (Air Law a little rusty) so please help me out here guys... |

Sorry for not seeing your post sooner, but yes an engine, propeller, or aircraft can be issued a export C of A. I have done several over the years, but you will neet the C of A before export.
The FAA inspector or DAR will have to check the data plate for serial numbers, part number, PC number, and review the engine records for total time. If you need still need assistance telephone me at (510) 748-0122 ext. 246. |
