I don't see Cockpit voice or video recorders as an invation of privicy, as others do. All the aircraft that I've flown in my professional carrier have had CVR (voice)none have had video.
In my opinion if your going to be responsible for hundreds of lives at a time you should be watched. I think that CVR's should be used in the prosicution of pilots, but only after an accident or insident; not used to review every flight and used to violate pilots.
CVR's (video) could be set up the same way as the current CVR's (audio) in that they are a loop that records over it self and would be used only in accident investigation.
I have flown with pilots and I know some will read this that disagree; most of these folks don't want big brother watching because most of them don't follow the rules, which are put there for safety, and do have something to hide.
The truth is that having Video recorders could also bail out pilots that have done no wrong but have no way of proving it.
