On take off and landing, when gear is in transit, with right tank on, you get a fuel smell in the cabin. Can't find any fuel lines, nor vent lines disconnected, broken, or cracked. Any ideas?

I have a C-35 Bonanza and although it has some quirks this isn't one of them. You should refer your question to the Ameican Bonanza Society or the World Bonanza. Both organizations have a tech staff to answer these kinds of question.

I had the same problem in my pa-235 an advisory came out on dry rotting fuel lines. I had them replaced. End of problem.
