Fuel stop in NC?

I'm planning a trip from new england to fla in a couple weeks. Would anybody care to recommend a field along about North Carolina which is a good place to stop for fuel and food?

Hey,
I live in Raleigh and Southern Jet at RDU is really nice. They are voted one of the best consistently. Really nice people and I have been told that there is some good food there to. They have a fairly new FBO building and good ramp services.

If you already went on your trip... Where did you end up going?

I ended up stopping at Franklin County, KLHZ. It worked out well, they seem like nice folks, and their fuel prices were pretty good. No food on the field, but there are a couple of places close by.

I would highly recommend DPL, Duplin County...it has a great airport, friendly staff, cheap fuel, and a courtesy car.

Depending on how long you have to stay and if its location suits your purposes but have always been a fan of Dare County Regional (MQI). I haven't been there in a while but I remember an aviaiton/militray museum and a very friendly atmosphere.
