I have had a darter for 13 yrs and there are a few things a new owner needs to know. see my thread in the owners group. it coincerns the gas caps (they will put you in the dirt) and the firewall fitting the gas filter screws to. (it will also put you in the dirt). also the gas tanks may leak, both mine did. I have a fix. good aircraft once the bugs are removed. I understand they were designed by the french and built by rednecks so they are different. you just have to recognize what is needed to make them reliable.
