Well we bought them, installed them, and now use them everyday we fly. Totally STC'd - totally unique- easy to install- no outboard packages, clicking relays or hot devices. We replace a pulselite system with the MaxPulse and it took longer to remove the Pulselite than it did to install the MaxPulse. The MaxDim is just great. Keep in mind this is a STC for a good reason. With the STC will be a flight manual supplement and instructions for the mechanic to inspect to so hang on to both. They do work very well and if you fly a lot at night its just the ticket.

You hit it right on the head. there is a reason all the STC/PMA stuff exists. For instance, what kind of radio noise comes from a couple of chattering relays switching >5 amps to your landing lights? I can tell you first hand. A LOT.
