    C310 Nosegear

    Anyone happen to catch the C310 landing without nosegear on CNN today? He landed and skidded to a safe stop at Van Nuys before the numbers! Impressive

    CE-310 do have a nose gear history and I have repaired many over the years. If you ever purchase a CE-310 take a look in the wheel well for additional doublers and match it with the aircraft records. Many owners don’t want anyone to know about the gear up landing and just have the aircraft fixed without a record entry.

    This of course is wrong, but I have seen many over the years.

    310s

    I always thought 310s look kool, but are there any other major mechanical
    pitfalls besides the nosegear? I'm shopping for an older/cheaper time builder.....
