Can anyone help me with a brief answer to what is super numary crew? Thank you...

It's actually spelled "supernumerary" which means: exceeding the usual, stated or prescribed number, or, exceeding what is necessary, required, or desired - according to Webster. If you're a pilot or flight attendant jumpseating on an airliner you may be listed as "supernumerary crew". Or, if you talk too much or complain about the lack of comfort in the typical jumpseat you will be informally listed as PITA (pain in the a**)
