RobertSubnet is on a distinguished road
Archer/Warrior tilt

Greetings all.

Currently I am at a point in life where flying is just not an option. But I am working toward it and learn what I can reading and surfing the Internet.

I am partial to Pipers, especially the Warriors and Archers.

Something I have been wondering about these airplanes: in some pictures, while parked on the ramp, the aircraft looks like it is really leaning/tilting back. But in other pictures, the aircraft looks more level, as if the front was lowered or the back raised (sorry for the lack of proper terminology).

Is this an intentional setting? Is there an advantage with the front raised vs. a more level fuselage? With some of the airplanes I have seen, you would think it would be very difficult to taxi, since you cannot see over the panel.

Just wondering.
