Where in the FAA index can I find the definition of Class A through "X" Airspace. Thanks

Classes include A through G. The US doesn't use Class F. You can find the definition of these airspaces in 14 CFR Part 91 (sections 126 through 135).

Click on the "Preflight Briefing Tools" then on the "Airport Graphics" links. There is a pictorial representation of the airspace on that site.

It also has a lot of useful information for most pilots and would be of particular interest to anyone planning a flight into northern California. It is the internet site for the F.A.A.s Oakland Automated International Flight Service Station.

They also have an email address posted on every page if you have questions or comments on the site or the FAA. That email is NOT for operational items, however.
