aircraft fabric maintenance
I would like to maintain the fabric on a Maule 6.
What would be some good websites to buy products for cleaning fabric aircraft? Thanks in advance al

Sunlight is the worst enemy of any finish. Keep a good coat of wax on the finish and avoid leaving the airplane in the sun any more than neccessary. Synthetic fabrics may be "lifetime" but it really doesn't matter if the finish gets oxidized and cracks and peels. The urethane finishes are so hard that they are very difficult to rub out if they get oxidized. All airplanes should absolutely be hangered, but fabric especially. Keep it in nice shape and it will last years.

I wouldn't worry about specialized cleaning products. I always used dish detergent to wash my fabric (Dawn is my favorite) and 409 or Fantastik for those belly areas where Dawn won't do the job. In an emergency, a little Pledge or other furniture polish gives a nice shine, but the wax tends to build up, so that's not an every day solution. Keep it clean, and apply any good car wax once or twice a year, and your Maule will look sharp and last for a long time.
