Beech 95A Travel Air

Can anyone tell me about any problems associated with the operation of a Beech 95 A
Travel Air twin engine aircraft? My brother-in-law was killed along with 3 others in a 1963 Travel Air in Virginia in April 1999. How does this aircraft perform under very windy conditions? Any known problems over its history? Thanks in advance.

What were the circumstances of the crash, how many hours time did he have, how many in this aircraft? was he in VFR of IFR conditions? Was his weight and balance correct? A majority of crashes are found to be pilot error, but sometimes its just plain old mechanical failure that gets us. The FAA is the place you should look for a crash history on a specific airplane. What did the FAA find in the investigation of your brother-in-laws crash? That will tell you alot.
