Some aviation sites, like landings.com, have a searchable data base on pilot records. HOWEVER!!! That information is more than two years old, unless the pilot has actually logged on and updated the information.
Most of these types of dtat bases were based on the FAA's pilot registry. In May, 1998 there was a determination made that the release of that registry violated the Privacy Act, so the FAA stopped releasing the information except to "official" sources, i.e. law enforcement or government officials. There may be some info there, but I wouldn't bet on it. I checked out my niece. They still show her with a student pilot cert and she's a CFI with over 1500 hours now. ------------------ Comments and opinions are my own and do not reflect those of my employer.
