FBO contract renewal

Ok all you airport bums, I want your input.
From my own experience, all the FBO's ive seen are located on city owned airfields and the FBO operator has a contract with the city to provide and handle various services, fuel, aircraft rental, flight training, maintenence, ect. Now, lets say the contract
comes due and the city awards it to a new operator, and this operator happens to be a friend or even YOU. What ideas do those of you have that would make this FBO a better place, able to better please its customers and (from a business perspective) be more profitable, after all, it has to make money right.
