Hi Denny,
Thanks for posting these and the link. You provided the address and fax number to get one's violation history with the FAA- does a pilot get reported for a violation without beinng notified?

Don,

To answer your question does a pilot get reported for a violation without being notified? No, if you were violated you will receive a Letter of Investigation (LOI) notifying you and then you would receive a letter from the regional legal office to contact them within a period of time (Due Process). If you like I can check your record or any other FSDO.

I haven't gotten any letters, nor have I received the dreaded "please phone the tower" over the radio, so I should be clean. I was just double checking. Don
