Green Bag Tags?
G'day all!
Quick question that my friend emailed me as he's travelled from EGAA to EGGP with EZY... Quote: Something happened when I was checking in for my flight this morning that I've never noticed before. The girl behind the desk used a highlighter to draw a thick green line the length of the strip of paper they put around the suitcase handle. None of the other bags coming off the flight had it. Unquote. Anybody got any ideas? I'm afraid it's WAY too long past that I was on a check-in desk and, since I'm an OPS man anyhow, I really haven't got a clue!? Grateful for anyone that can help. I contacted the local TSA in Oakland and San Francisco and asked about the color gree coding tags on bags. Both offices did not know, but one did say right after 9/11 some airports did have a color tagging. However that went away after the nen x-ray machines came on line. Sorry I could not find out any more.
