a new beginning

Hi everyone.

A little about myself, been a mechanic for nearly 30 years and am starting towards a career change. Just planning getting started on getting my commercial licence in Canada. I have always loved flying but circumstances prevented me from following that career dream when I was younger now I am ready to go after it again. I really want to fly float planes into the remote camps in Canada.( I love the back country).I am currently doing fly-in service for an outboard dealer and am thinking about getting my own plane and flying myself in to log hours.Just happened across this site while checking specs on aircraft. At this point I am still bursting with questions about stuff so please bear with me as I learn what is the right choices to make in an aircraft and trainng.
