Old Pilot still loves flying
I hate to admit it by I have been a pilot 35 years now. I have an ATP, Commercial, Instrument, CFII-MEI. I have not flown for a living in 20 years. I crop dusted 5 years when I was young, did some commuter airline work then quit professional flying in 1987. After a long absence I began flying again after all the kids graduated college. I own a SR-22 Cirrus, and most recently a Cessna 320, with Full Garmin package including the 480 GPS and MX20 with Chart View. The plane is no longer with the flying. At its last annual the mechanic improperly rigged the landing gear, causing the right main to collapse as I turned off the runway at slow speed on its maiden/test flight out of annual. I hope to buy another airplane in the coming year.
