Intro and question. Best plane for one foot?
Hi all.
Just returning to the wonderful world of aviation after a hiatus of a few years following the loss of a foot. I've got a nice new prosthetic one now (several, actually) but none of them allow any up and down movement such as oner would need to depress the toe brakes atop the rudder pedals of a Cessna 172. I'm sure that I can work something out to adapt, but does anyone have a recommendation for an aircraft of similar performance and cost that has a different braking system? If not, anyone have any experience or suggestions other than "just move your feet up on the pedals at landing time"?
And on a related subject, anyone here go through the process of getting a SODA from the FAA?
