    Hello from Iraq

    Just wanted to give a shout out to everyone as I am new here. I have been a B52 Crew Chief and have my A&P license. Was working on my PPL and the hanger I had my aircraft stored was hit by a tornado. When I get back from the sand box would like to finish my training. Happy New year to all.

    Have been in Iraq since 2006 working for the DOD in the Warlock/Crew Counter IED program and it has been my pleasure to work with our military personal, really great people. Lets say I did not lose money on my AC, my deductible was only $250.00 since it was sitting in the hanger.

    Well I'm glad to hear your insurance covered everything. Are you active military or a civilian contractor? If you don't mind my asking.

    I didn't spend any time on the ground in Iraq but I spent plenty of time over it. I was USAF and spent some time there doing airborne signals intel.

    But its hard to replace a 1949 Piper Clipper it was a fun plane to fly. I am a contractor working for the DOD.
