Question How to go to the United States to do pilot training?

Hello. I'm a new member and I'm from the Philippines. I'm searching for a flight school near Los Angeles California. My Mom is a permanent US resident.

I'm a Computer Engineer. I want to pursue a career in flying.
How do I start? Thanks.

non-US student pilots

Helo,

How about you talk to the US consulate in your country about your plans.
Most likely you will have to find a school, which can assist you with getting a student visa. In addition, you will have to go though TSA backround check www.flightschoolcandidates.gov.

Good luck.
