SF Bay - Instrument & PP Ground School
The College of Alameda is offering both an instrument ground school and a private pilot’s ground school this spring. I took the instrument course last semester, it’s a heck of a value for only $80 plus books. There were a number of IFR rated pilots taking it as a refresher. Community colleges are the way to go for ground schools. Stu Lilly is using the Jeppesen books and syllabus for both courses.

Alemeda Ground
I took the ground school a few years ago at another bay area community college and thought it was really great. The instructor used Rod Machado's material. At Alemeda, does the instructor write the test questions or does the instructor pull the test questions form various test prep material?
