Starting Out

Hello:

First thing you want to do is research your options. There are a lot of flight schools out there and everyone is fighting to get the students.

The first step is your private pilot license then instrument rating and then your commercial certificate.

You will want to look at the different types of flight schools and financing if you need it. Then you need to find the right instructor.

Let me know where you are with your research and I would be glad to help you

I wanna make it...

Hi,

Thank you so much for the reply.
I am searching for the schools now. Its bit difficult for me to find out the reliable schools in US, giving training on the CPL as I am here in India. I got to kno about Pheonix Aviation Academy. Still on searching.
Infact I got lot of things to see like, the standard of the school, cost of the course (as I am afraind whether I will be really to afford it! ). But really wanted to make my dream come true. I have that fire in mind, and hopefully I can make it one day.
Some doubts are, the cost of the training, the duration of the training, how to select the school (I am in India right now!) etc.
I am planning it for next January though.
If you can help me out I would be grateful to u.

hello:

Just research your options before you sign on the line. I have not worked with a big flight school in a while so I am not quite sure of all the programs out there

I'd recommend checking out Aviation Pacific India.

I recently developed some web pages for them and they have numerous courses and options for Indian students, as well as an Indian representative in Mumbai.
